Jenna Lyons Looks Almost Unrecognizable as a Blonde
The RHONY cast member had the other 'Wives floored with her transformation.

As a prominent figure in the fashion world, The Real Housewives of New York City cast member has become well-known for her distinct taste and edgy take on preppy style. She often fuses traditionally masculine and feminine elements in her everyday looks, which typically consist of button-ups, trousers, thick-rimmed glasses, and slicked-back brown hair. But, like many fashion lovers, Jenna isn’t afraid to step out of her comfort zone and occasionally mix things up. Case in point? Her incredible transformation in RHONY Season 15, Episode 10.
Jenna Lyons says she wanted to "play the hot, sexy, pretty girl"
The December 3 episode, titled “A Strictly Ballroom Affair,” was primarily set at Racquel Chevremont’s engagement party with her fiancée, Mel Corpus. The get-together was themed around the New York City ballroom scene, an underground LGBTQ subculture synonymous with extravagant garments and performances. Needless to say, the party was full of incredible fashion moments (we’re looking at you Erin and Abe Lichy), but it was Jenna’s bombshell look that received the most praise.
The multi-hyphenate showed up to the party in an icy-blond wig with a slight side swoop and soft long waves. The hair color went perfectly with her white Self-Portrait sequin midi dress with a plunging neckline and ruffled lapels. She accessorized the garment with hot-pink heels, pink-framed sunglasses, and gold-toned jewelry.
“The invitation says be somebody you normally aren’t,” Jenna explained in an episode interview. “I don’t often play the hot, sexy, pretty girl, um clearly.”

Jenna, who provided a closer look at the ensemble via Instagram, said she was inspired by her castmate Brynn Whitfield, who showed up to the event in a similar dress.
“I really was channeling you and I think I met my match,” Jenna told Brynn. “I’m literally wearing a white sequin dress and so is she.”
Brynn was clearly a fan of Jenna’s blonde look, but it was Jessel Taank who seemed the most floored.
“Stop it. I am obsessed,” Jessel said told Jenna. “Can I just say you look kind of amazing?”
"You can have it when I’m done. I did buy a butt for it. These are not mine. Feel it,” Jenna said, referring to her padded underwear. “Thank you, but nothing is real. Like, literally, my hair’s not real, my eyelashes aren’t real, my boobs are not real, my butt is not real.”
“Welcome to being a chick,” Jessel replied. “Like, nothing is real. Are you kidding me?”
