Is Jeff Lewis Turning to Harry Potter and Frozen for His Baby Girl's Name?
Perhaps Hermione and Elsa will be on the #FlippingOut dad-to-be’s list of baby names.
It's almost time for Jeff Lewis and Gage Edward to welcome their baby into the world this fall, which means they need to start settling on some names for their little one, or at least coming up with potential options.
Luckily, Jeff has already found some inspiration for his little girl's name, and it's pretty fantastic. "In three months I'll be a DILF," Jeff told E! News in July. "We are so busy right now trying to get the house done. Sometimes I forget! I don't go a week, but I might go a day without thinking about it. We were discussing names earlier. Maybe a Harry Potter or Frozen theme. Kids love Frozen."
We're not sure if Jeff is serious here or if he's just messing with us like we've seen him do time and again on Flipping Out. Then again, there is a nice ring to Hermione, Elsa, and Anna, so maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea for him and Gage to look to these beloved franchises for some help with names.
If Jeff does decide to go this route with his daughter's name, at least he can avoid a certain worry he had about the decision in the past. "Do you notice how when you think of names that you've always liked, but then you meet somebody with that name, and they're just ***holes?" he told The Daily Dish in 2015 (clip above). "It's hard because we come up with a name and then Gage goes, 'No, remember her? She's a bitch. I don't want to name our kid...' Or, 'That person's a jerk. That guy's a douche.' Whatever, so it's hard because I pretty much hate everyone."
After agreeing with Jenni Pulos that some old-school names like Beatrice and Gertrude could make the cut since those monikers have mostly gone out of style, Jeff also came up with a solution to this problem. "Maybe we just won't name the baby," he said. "Call it 'Baby.' It's gonna be 'Baby.'"
We have a feeling that Jeff and Gage will come up with a name that's a bit more creative than that. While we wait to meet their little girl, relive this emotional moment from their road to fatherhood, below.
