The Vanderpump Rules OG went on to post more clips and photos from the family outing, which was supposed to be an all-day event; however, Jax later revealed their plans were cut short as his little boy was completely worn out.
“So we made it to the zoo and then the plan was to go to Sky Zone afterwards but, uh…” Jax said in a video filmed from the zoo parking lot. He then turned the camera toward the backseat of his car, where little Cruz was seen dozing off. “He’s so cute,” Jax said with a laugh.
The father of one spent the rest of the afternoon at his Valley Village home, where he enjoyed some lunch and watched a hockey game along with his son and the family dog.
“Best buds… My boy,” he captioned a photo of Cruz sleeping beside the pooch.
Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor announce they're "taking time apart"
The family get-together took place after Brittany revealed she had moved out of her home and into a rental. The Kentucky native dropped the news in late February while she and Jax faced a wave of breakup rumors.
“Jax and I are taking time apart, and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health,” Brittany said in an episode of When Reality Hits, a podcast series she co-hosts with Jax. “I won’t get into too many details right now because this is still very hard to talk about and I’m taking things one day at a time.”
Brittany Cartwright denies claims her marital split was a "publicity stunt"
Many fans dismissed the announcement as a publicity stunt for The Valley, an upcoming Bravo series that will follow the couple and their group of friends as they navigate suburban life. Jax and Brittany — who got married in 2019 — adamantly denied the allegations in the March 8 episode of their podcast.
“I think there’s a lot of people out there trying to act that what’s going on between us is a publicity stunt, but no,” Brittany said. “I would never uproot my child if it wasn’t for, you know, for the best and for us to try and figure things out between ourselves. It’s not a publicity stunt. I cannot make that clear enough.”
She went on to say that Cruz was their main priority, and they had every intention of playing nice for the sake of their child.
“We are co-parenting; we’re doing the best that we can; we’re just trying to figure some things out right now,” Brittany continued. “It doesn’t mean we are gonna get divorced or anything like that … things just need to be better… We’re still co-parenting. Cruz is what matters the most, We’re gonna be adulting as hell about this.”
