James Kennedy and Ally Lewber Open Up Life with Their Dog, Hippie: "He's Really My Best Friend"
Vanderpump Rules couple James Kennedy and Ally Lewber also teased the upcoming Season 11, which will feature Hippie's "journey."
A lot has changed for the cast of Vanderpump Rules since Season 10 wrapped in May 2023, but especially for James Kennedy and Ally Lewber.
Last July, they found themselves caring (again) for their dog, Hippie.
At the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premiere screening and cocktail party on January 17, James and Ally both shared an update on what it's like to have the furry friend back in their lives. How James Kennedy Reunited with His Dog
James first revealed that Hippie was back in his care on July 20, 2023 by taking to Instagram with a photo of him and Hippie, and another snapshot featuring Ally as well. "Look who made his way back home, back into my life," James captioned the post. "I’ll take care of you forever and I love you."
As for how exactly this reunion came to be, James told BravoTV.com that fans will find out when Vanderpump Rules returns on January 30. "You will see that journey this season," James said before sharing an update on Hippie himself. "He's doing so good — such a good boy, so well behaved. He's put on a couple pounds — healthy pounds — and he's just, like the best. He's really my best friend."
Ally is equally thrilled to have Hippie in her life. As James put it, "We're reminded of that every single morning when we wake up and we see him. And we're just so happy that he's back in my life and our lives."
"We're obsessed with him," Ally herself added. "It might be unhealthy. We love him."
What to Expect From James Kennedy on Vanderpump Rules Season 11
Hippie's journey is only the beginning when it comes to everything that's set to unfold on Vanderpump Rules Season 11.

What's more, James teased at the premiere party that Season 11 is "really interesting."
"I think it was an amazing season," he explained. "I think it's very like drama-filled and all of that stuff — the ups and the downs and the laugh and the cries, it's all of that — but it's also very in-depth. Like, you get to see everyone's story, very detailed."

Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premieres Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo and will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
