Katie Maloney-Schwartz Is Actually Happy James Kennedy Is DJ’ing at SUR Again?!?!
This is one Vanderpump Rules beef we didn't see ending so sweetly.
You read that headline correctly, but we'll repeat it in case you think you imagined it: Katie Maloney-Schwartz is actually happy James Kennedy is DJ’ing at SUR again.
After James headed to Instagram to show off a text chain in which he was asked to come back to SUR to DJ for one of his famous "See U Next Tuesday" gigs, his one-time SUR nemesis, Katie, sneaked into his comments to congratulate him on the career update.
"All is right again in SUR land. I’m happy for you dude," she responded.
Did James embrace her warm comment? Well, yes, yes he did. "[Katie] Thank you so much [heart emoji]," he responded. "Means so much honestly!"
Relations between Katie and James have definitely been tense as recently as last season, but the feud seemed to be cooling off somewhat during Season 8: In addition to hitting the decks at SUR again, during the February 11 episode of Vanderpump Rules, James DJed at Tom Tom (co-owned by Katie's hubby, Tom Schwartz) during Pride, which she joked about in the clip above.
