James Kennedy and Ally Lewber Discuss Marriage at BravoCon 2023
The Vanderpump Rules couple opened up about their "amazing year" together and the next steps in their relationship.
Are James Kennedy and Ally Lewber ready to say, “I do”? Not quite yet.
As they approach their second anniversary, the Vanderpump Rules couple has been increasingly pressed about the next steps in their relationship and the possibility of an engagement. Such questions aren’t exactly surprising, as James and Ally have reached huge milestones over the past several months, like becoming puppy parents and moving into their new Southern California home.
Ally addressed the topic of marriage during the Vanderpump Rules panel at BravoCon 2023, insisting she was happy in her relationship, but was in no rush to walk down the aisle.
“James bought a house this year. We’re now doggy parents, so yeah, things are going great,” she said. “I don’t think we’re in a huge rush for that. We’re really content with where we’re at… we’re good.”
James Kennedy believes marriage is in his future
Although James echoed his girlfriend, he made it clear he expects to get hitched someday.
“It’s been an amazing year, you know,” he said. “Obviously, I love Ally more than anything, and I see [marriage] in our future. But, again, we’re not rushing anything. It’s been an amazing year… I’m over the moon. I haven’t been this filled with joy in so long. I love our little family and our little house in Burbank, and everything is just sweet.”
He made similar comments on November 4 while speaking to Access Hollywood on the BravoCon red carpet.
“I’ve been asked this question a lot,” James said about the marriage query. “We are so in love and a lot’s happened this year… We’ve just been enjoying every day so much, so there’s no rush for that. But, yeah, I definitely see that in our future. I love her more than anything.”
James Kennedy and Ally Lewber's Living Situation
James and Ally confirmed their relationship in March 2022, about a year before James purchased his “dream” home. The U.K.-born DJ shared a look at the property over the summer, as he and Ally were “getting settled, moving in, and decorating.”
“It’s fun,” he told BravoTV.com at the time. “Ally’s been amazing. She’s decorated the whole place.”
The Valley abode includes three bedrooms, a recording studio, a backyard pool, and a garden, which James said he “loves.”
“I’m in very much, like, dad mode,” he continued. “Not dad mode, but you know what I mean? I’ve got a house now. Very grown up! Ally Bally is bringing the cats. We’re all gonna live together!”
