Is LeeAnne Locken Actually Going to Get Married to Fiancé Rich Emberlin? This Latest Update Says It All
The Real Housewives of Dallas couple's wedding is set to take place on April 27, 2019.
For anyone who may have questioned whether LeeAnne Locken and her fiancé Rich Emberlin would actually make it down the aisle one day, The Real Housewives of Dallas couple just proved you wrong. LeeAnne and Rich recently obtained their marriage license for their April 27 wedding.
LeeAnne confirmed that big step, as well as the fact that she's “getting giddier every moment” leading up to her nuptials, during an interview with Us Weekly. “I honestly didn’t realize how excited I would become, and I didn’t realize how excited Rich would be,” she said. “Seeing him get excited makes me realize how much he loves me. It has been the biggest blessing of the process so far.”’
Rich popped the question during a carnival-themed proposal in Season 2 of RHOD. The couple began planning their wedding in Season 3 (check out more on that, above), although their delay in setting a date made some wonder if the big day would actually ever arrive. LeeAnne finally revealed the date of the big day in the RHOD Season 3 finale.
Since then, LeeAnne has been slowly revealing the details of her wedding, including the venue at the Cathedral of Hope in Dallas, the save the date, and what she'll be wearing. LeeAnne assured Us Weekly that she has not been acting like a "bridezilla." “I think it freaks my friends out how not worried about anything I have been,” she shared. “I am so at peace with who I am and where we are as a couple that the rest seems like, well, as we say in the south, the rest is just lipstick on a pig.”
She also dropped another major tidbit during her interview with Us Weekly: She and Rich will be writing their own wedding vows. “I was shocked when he told me he had already started with his! Then he followed that up with, ‘and they are going to make you cry!’” she said. “Rich has never been someone who overly expresses his emotions, so when he does, you can count on two things: they are genuine and they will be heartfelt!”
LeeAnne opens up more about why Rich is the one, below.
