Kate Chastain Confirms She and Hannah Ferrier Are No Longer Friends
"Hannah, Hannah, karma," the Below Deckchief stew said.
One of our favorite cross-Below Deck friendships has come to an end. Kate Chastain and Hannah Ferrier are no longer pals, the Below Deck chief stew confirmed to The Daily Dish during an interview in New York City on October 14.
We first noticed that things seemed off between these two when Kate appeared to throw some shade at Hannah's table decor this season of Below Deck Mediterranean, something Captain Sandy Yawn also came down on the chief stew about. When one Twitter follower asked Kate why she was poking fun at Hannah since the two are good friends at all, she corrected the fan. "Unfortunately I don’t consider people who talk poorly about me behind my back to be a friend," Kate tweeted.
The Below Deck chief stew later explained to The Daily Dish what caused the rift in her friendship with Hannah. "A lot of people that work with Hannah also work with me, and people tell me things that are said. And so, at this point, it's just like I don't really want to be friends with somebody that said bad things about me. Hannah, Hannah, karma?" Kate said, referencing Hannah's now-iconic "June, June, Hannah" call over the radio this season of Below Deck Med.
Kate spoke more about her issues with Hannah during Monday night's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, including her very sassy advice for the Below Deck Med crew member. Watch it, above.
Kate weighed in on another crew member's performance this season of Below Deck Med, Ben Robinson, which you can check out, below.
