Gina Kirschenheiter Has a *Very* Sweet Birthday Message for Ex Matt Kirschenheiter: "I'm Your Person and You're Mine"

Gina Kirschenheiter showed her ex Matt Kirschenheiter a lot of love on his birthday on June 11.

The Real Housewives of Orange County mom reflected on the past, present, and future of her relationship with Matt in a post on Instagram that featured several photos from their 14 years together. "Happy birthday to the man who has held my hand for the last 14 years despite the ups and downs. Thanks for being the best father to our kids, and the best friend a girl could ask for," Gina gushed in the post. "Wouldn’t want to take on this crazy life with anyone else. Like you said, 'I’m your person and you’re mine.' Happy Birthday Matthew."

But if that birthday message from Gina sounds especially sweet coming from an ex, well, we'll hear a lot more about their relationship in the upcoming Season 14 of RHOC.

Gina announced that she had filed for divorce from Matt in April 2018. RHOC fans watched as the then-new Housewife navigated her post-divorce life in Season 13.

Gina and Matt remained extremely close after they decided to split, with the OC Housewife always saying she still had a lot of love for her ex. They even continued to sleep together for a time after Gina filed for divorce.

No matter what's going on in their relationship, Gina and Matt have always made sure to keep their family together, enjoying fun-filled days out with their three young children, Nicholas, Sienna, and Luca.

Gina's life has been filled with ups and downs since we last saw her on RHOC. She was arrested last winter for allegedly driving under the influence. But Gina has mostly been looking to the future, switching up her hair, trying her hand at acting, and selling her Coto de Caza home.
