How to Act Like a Lady on New Year's Eve, According to Sophie Stanbury and Julie Montagu
The #LadiesOfLondon moms want you to learn from their mistakes.
The Ladies of London cast is usually prim and proper, but when it came to last season's New Year's Eve bash, this group of friends showed that they know how to turn up, too. An intense headstand competition took place at dinner and animal onesies were worn, which led to a fierce debate over the etiquette of air humping someone else's husband. You get the picture.
And yes, Sophie Stanbury and Julie Montagu are still recovering from those shenanigans. "I did not behave ladylike on New Year's Eve," Sophie told The Daily Dish, admitting that she probably had too much to drink that night. "Then by the end of the evening, I could barely stand."
Sophie said that she has learned her lesson and has not done that much imbibing since then. "Don't get annihilated. Eat. Eat before you go out. Have a glass of milk throughout the evening. Milk lines your stomach, stops you from being sick," Sophie recommended as some of her tips for acting ladylike on New Year's Eve (clip above). "Water. Do one drink, one water, one drink, one water."
Julie only had one suggestion for keeping it classy as you ring in the new year. "I think how to be ladylike on New Year's Eve is just make sure you don't go out with Juliet Angus. [You'll be] totally fine," she said, expressing general displeasure over Juliet's behavior during the Ladies of London New Year's Eve shindig. "Did you watch the episode? There you go. Need I say more?"
That party may not be one that Sophie and Julie look back on too fondly, but it certainly was unforgettable. Revisit the ladies' wild sides, below.
