The RHOSLC Cast Reveals the Shocking Way They “Caught” Britani Filming (EXCLUSIVE)

Was Britani Bateman intentionally recording her fellow Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast members during their trip to Puerto Vallarta on Season 5, Episode 15? They say yes, despite her excuses.
Whitney Rose, more specifically, claimed on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show, "I know she was filming us, because I caught her filming earlier. She was filming us walk through the airport and she sent it off to a group of friends."
Bronwyn Newport shared a similar sentiment, noting, "I mean, Britani could tell me 'til the day she dies that she wasn't recording us, [but] she was recording us. And she had been before that."
"Britani, love you, [but] she was fully recording," Heather Gay added. "And she was doing it in a morally superior way, going 'Look at these crazy bitches.' ... None of her excuses were landing."
Why were the RHOSLC ladies upset about Britani recording them?
Though the easy argument is that the women let themselves be filmed for the show (their sprinter van fight was already on tape!), Bronwyn pointed out on the RHOSLC After Show that's different because she lets reality TV cameras be a part of her world. "It's about consent for me. I let Bravo into my home, and I take that very seriously. I consented to that. I did not consent to Britani having a recording of Lisa [Barlow] and I fighting over whether or not she believes my husband had an emotional affair and that I shared it with you guys," she explained. "That's completely f----d up, that she would be in possession of that material. And she does not understand that."
What was Britani Bateman's reasoning for recording in the sprinter van?
While Britani doesn't deny taking videos in the sprinter van, she didn't admit to doing anything nefarious on purpose. "I mean, if anyone had any proof that I had done anything to hurt anyone on purpose, that would be one thing. But no one did," she said on the RHOSLC After Show. "Everyone was making the worst assumptions about me."
Britani's excuse, as it still stands, is that she was texting her daughter Olivia and wanted to send her some videos from her trip.
Nevertheless, most of her castmates disagree. As Bronwyn put it, "It was not to send to her daughter a congratulatory note. It was not to remember this beautiful time in Puerto Vallarta together. It was to have something on all of us."
Lisa, however, stuck up for Britani on the RHOSLC After Show.
"You let us look through your phone, there was nothing on there, so we looked at text messages with you and Jared [Osmond], we looked at messages with you and your kids, and like, nobody could delete [anything] that fast," Lisa recalled in conversation with Britani. "For me, I was like, 'I'm resolved.'"
