How Does Cynthia Bailey Know the RHOBH Ladies? Their Friendship, Explained
This Georgia Peach will have a cameo on Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ladies have made room for an Atlanta peach!
For 10 seasons Cynthia Bailey was a crucial part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but the successful model and businesswoman is now having some fun on a new coast and deepening her bonds with the women of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Cynthia is expected to stop by the 90210 zip code in a cameo during RHOBH Season 13, as she has close ties with business partner Sutton Stracke.
But just don’t expect Cynthia to return to being a Housewife full-time.
“I do not see a ‘Housewives’ return at this point in my life,” she said during a live taping of the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast in September. “I am actually really enjoying my acting career. We are on strike right now, please pray that that’s over soon.”
“I did 11 long years. I gave you guys two marriages, two divorces, like I just don’t have anything else to give you guys,” she continued, referencing her public divorces from husbands Peter Thomas and Mike Hill.
While Cynthia may not be looking for any long-term commitment with the Real Housewives franchise right now, in part because she can already “check it off” as a life experience, she does admit to enjoying the occasional drop-in.

“I did enjoy, I have to say, just being able to pop in on … Atlanta and Beverly Hills because I do have organic relationships with a lot of the ladies after 11 years of being a consistent peach holder on Atlanta,” The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip alum said. “It is good to just be able to come home sometimes, but I am pretty much focused on my acting career.”
How is Cynthia Bailey connected to RHOBH?
Cynthia’s tie to RHOA is obvious, but her connection to RHOBH may not be as well known.
Cynthia and Kyle Richards both appeared on the inaugural season of RHUGT, and the relationship didn’t end when the cameras stopped rolling.
Cynthia was spotted out with some of the cast including Kyle, Luann de Lesseps ,and Teresa Guidice for a fun night out in Los Angeles in 2021 after filming ended. Clearly, a connection has been built between Cynthia and Kyle.
Cynthia, who spends most of her time living in Los Angeles these days, also has a close friendship with RHOBH’s Sutton Stracke.
Their shenanigans together have been well documented on social media over the last year.
When the pair met up at Pendry West Hollywood earlier this year, Cynthia commemorated the day with a carousel of images on Instagram.
“Whew!!! time just flies when u are with this one! hours of a bunch of craziness & non-stop laughter!” Cynthia wrote alongside the images. “Everyone needs a little @suttonstracke in their life! so in love!”
The pair are even joining forces for a business collaboration. As Sutton announced in August, her sustainable fashion company Sutton Brands teamed with Cynthia to promote her new sustainable bedding line, Cynthia Bailey’s Collection.
“There’s no better way to announce [Sutton Brands’] first [sustainable fashion curator] with [Cynthia Bailey] than a trip to London for a hush birthday party!” Sutton wrote on Instagram as the pair vacationed in London together. “We welcome Cynthia with open arms and couldn’t wish for a better designer to join our team of [circular fashion] and [sustainable] warriors to help change our earth.”
They were spotted together again at the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast taping in September.
As for her upcoming cameo on RHOBH Season 13, a source told Entertainment Tonight, Cynthia attended a party at Kyle’s and came as Sutton’s guest.
"Although cameras were rolling, Cynthia is not an official cast member, but is often invited to events by the cast and she decided to go to the dinner,” the unnamed source said. “She might be popping in and out as a guest in the upcoming season. Nothing is official and right now it’s casual. Cynthia’s focus is still her acting career."
RHOBH alums Denise Richards and Camille Grammer were also in attendance at the party.
