Teresa Giudice Opens Up About How She Met Her Boyfriend
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member shares the sweet story of how she met her boyfriend.
Teresa Giudice is slowly opening up about her relationship with her boyfriend. She teased on Instagram over the weekend, "I feel so fortunate to have found love in the most unexpected way, at the most unexpected time." Now, we're learning more about how she did meet him.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member opened up about her first encounter with her boyfriend, Luis "Louie" Ruelas, in an interview with Extra. “We met, believe it or not, at the Jersey Shore. I was walking, and that's how I met him, exercising," Teresa said.
She added in the interview with Extra, “He ran past me that week a few times... And he ran past me with no shirt on. And I was like, ‘Oh, who is that?’"
From there, they finally spoke while Teresa was with a group of friends — and the rest is history. “We started talking, he told us about himself. He had two business cards on him. He handed to me one and then one to my married girlfriend," Teresa recalled. "All of a sudden, he drives up to us in the car. He said, ‘Teresa, my son wanted to know why I didn’t ask for your number.’ I said, ‘I have your business card. I'll text you.’ My girlfriend took my phone and was like, ‘I’m texting him right now.’”
Teresa first went Instagram official with her new boyfriend in December, several months after she finalized her divorce from her ex, Joe Giudice.
This past weekend, just in time for Valentine's Day, Teresa opened up on Instagram about having her boyfriend in her life, even hashtagging him as her "soulmate."
"You show me a whole New World, your kindness, creativity [and] love shows in everything that you do. I am so happy [and] I thank my mom and dad in heaven above for sending you. Thank you for loving me and showing me that it can be Valentine’s Day every day when I’m with you," she wrote.
