Heather and Terry Dubrow Return to the Scene of Their Very First Date
"My life was changed forever," the #RHOC podcaster gushed.
You never know what you're going to get on a blind date, but there's always the chance that you'll meet the man of your dreams. That's exactly what happened to Heather Dubrow, who met her husband, Terry Dubrow, on a blind date 20 years ago.
The Real Housewives of Orange County author commemorated the romantic occasion on Instagram Wednesday, December 7. "20 years ago tonight I walked into this restaurant, had a blind date with this man and my life was changed forever," Heather captioned a pic of herself with Terry at the Ivy at the Shore in Santa Monica, California.
Heather recounted the couple's meet-cute during an episode of her Heather Dubrow's World podcast in November 2015. When she was 27 years old, she asked her friend's boyfriend, who was a transplant surgeon, if he knew any Jewish doctors he could introduce her to. Soon enough, Heather found herself on a double date meeting Terry for the first time. "He wasn't really my type, but you know, I was like, 'We'll see,'" Heather said during the podcast.
Fast forward two decades, and Heather and Terry are still together and better than ever these days. The couple just celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary in June.
