See What Has Heather Dubrow and Her Daughter Max Celebrating
The Real Housewives of Orange County daughter calls this “the greatest thing to happen to [her].”
Heather Dubrow’s eldest daughter, Max Dubrow, has a furry special reason to celebrate. The Real Housewives of Orange County teenager took to Instagram to share a sweet message about “the greatest thing to happen to [her].” And as her festive photos show, she celebrated said thing with her whole family.
Max Dubrow celebrates a special birthday
In a July 30 Instagram post, the Tufts University student gave some birthday love to a whiskered member of her family. Referring to her beautiful gray kitten, Vincent, Max wrote: “Happy 1st birthday my son!! [I] love you more than anything and you are the greatest thing to happen to me. [So] thankful that we rescued each other.”
Max’s heartfelt post included a carousel of photos featuring her four-legged “son.” Various pics showed Vincent posing in a knit winter hat and a brightly colored bowtie and even dressed up as Santa. Several captures showed the kitty cuddling with his cat mom, and Max included a couple snapshots of Vincent’s birthday bash.
For the kitty’s first birthday, the Dubrow family pulled out all the stops. Vincent got a cake with a customized birthday message and rainbow sprinkles, wore a glittering birthday crown, and had festive decor inspired by a famous artist who shares his first name: Vincent van Gogh.
Heather Dubrow pays tribute to her “grandcat”
Heather also shared photos from the feline’s fete and wrote a warm birthday message to Vincent. “Happy birthday, [Vincent]!!!!” the actress wrote, adding “My ‘grandcat’ is one year old!!!!”
The RHOC cast member’s photos showed her whole family gathered around a table, where starry party plates were laid out. She also shared a photo of Max holding Vincent, with the latter dressed in all his birthday finery.
Terry Dubrow shows love for his “babykins”
It seems Max’s dad, Dr. Terry Dubrow, is also very fond of his grandcat. The plastic surgeon frequently comments on the photos Max posts to the cat’s own Instagram feed, writing things like “my kitty” and “cutest babykins ever.”
Max Dubrow’s Next Steps
In addition to celebrating her “son,” Max can celebrate a monumental first year of college.
In a recent interview with The Daily Dish, the student said: “I think for any student going into college or moving away from the house and the family that they’ve known their whole life, it’s difficult. But I think, you know, I moved across the country, and that was out of anyone’s comfort zone.”
Thankfully, Max was not only able to adjust to her new life but also start to thrive. As she shared, “At certain times, I would even be excited to go back to school rather than be at home ’cause I had my own dorm.”
She concluded, “It was definitely very, very difficult and scary as hell, but I think it’s the best thing I could’ve done for myself, especially having anxiety.”
