Gina Kirschenheiter Just Experienced a "First" with Travis Mullen: "Very Excited"
The RHOC mom also shared a look at her and her boyfriend's romantic date night. "All that really matters in the end..."
Gina Kirschenheiter can thank Travis Mullen for expanding her palate.
Although she’s a self-described "McDonald's girl," The Real Housewives of Orange County mom recently broadened her fast-food horizons with encouragement from her longtime boyfriend. Gina shared the experience in an October 22 Instagram Story, showing her and her Travis sitting outside with a tray of Taco Bell.
While it was a pretty casual and run-of-the-mill choice, Gina documented the otherwise unnoteworthy lunch because it marked a delicious “first."
Travis Mullen convinced Gina Kirschenheiter to try *this* for the first time
“Never had a Double Decker taco from Taco Bell before and it’s back on the menu,” she said in the video, referring to the limited-time item. “Travis is very excited.”
“I’m gonna rock your world,” her boyfriend promised. “First bite of your Double Decker career.”
“Rock my world?! Well…” Gina playfully said before having a taste. “It’s incredible. So good.”
“I told you,” Travis replied.
Inside Gina and Travis' romantic concert night
Hours after their fast-food lunch, Gina and Travis took fans inside their romantic “date night.” The couple spent the evening at Anaheim’s House of Blues, watching a live performance by singer-songwriter Teddy Swims. Travis shared the event in a series of videos in which he gave Teddy a glowing review.
“Bro is INSANE!!!” Travis wrote about the show. “Fly anywhere in the world to this man live! You will thank me later.”
Gina also posted footage from the event, showing the artist on stage as well as a few shots of her and Travis in the audience.
“[Hashtag] Livin for music,” she captioned the clips. “Cause that’s all that really matters in the end...”
Travis reshared the latter Story on his account with a heartwarming message.
“LOVE is all that matters!” he added. “Anyone you care about, tell them you love them and appreciate them.”
Gina asks Travis to move out of her OC townhouse
Gina started dating Travis in the summer of 2019, more than a year after she split with her ex-husband. About six months into the relationship, the OC couple moved into a three-bedroom townhome Gina had purchased in Rancho Mission Viejo. They were joined by Gina’s three children with her ex, as well as Travis’ three kids from a previous relationship.
In early 2024, Gina announced she had asked Travis to leave her home, saying her children needed more space as they were getting older. While she admitted it was a difficult decision, the East Coast native insisted she didn’t regret the move.
“I would, looking back on it, make the same decision,” she said in the RHOC Season 18 premiere. “And that’s what's so hard. Because even today, we’re doing so well, Travis and I, and we’re working through so much. But, we still stand on opposite sides of the decision.”
Gina says she and Travis are still working through issues
But despite their disagreement, Gina and Travis are still going strong in both their romantic and working relationship. The OC realtor spoke about their dynamic in the July 26 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
“It’s good, it’s really good,” she said. “We had a bad year and we’re still not through all of it but we’re handling it well.”
