Teresa Giudice’s eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, has been in a relationship with her boyfriend, Christian Carmichael, for more than three years. Since becoming Instagram official in July 2020, they have let The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans into their relationship through regular updates on social media.
Gia and Christian have enjoyed lots of sweet dates to restaurants and the beach, and enjoy getting dressed up in couple’s costumes for Halloween every year. In the summer of 2020, Gia posted a photo to Instagram of herself snuggling up to a cute young man (the guy tagged in the photo, fans would later learn, was Christian Carmichael). She captioned the moment, "Summer nights with you."
Though this was the first time Christian appeared on Gia’s Instagram feed, people were quick to notice that Teresa already followed him on Instagram.

In early 2022, rumors started to swirl that Gia and her boyfriend had gotten engaged, but the RHONJ daughter was quick to clear up any confusion.
"There have been rumors circulating on the internet that my boyfriend and I are secretly engaged," Gia told Celebuzz in an interview. "I can confirm the engagement news — specifically, that we are NOT engaged... We are happily together as boyfriend and girlfriend but definitely there is no engagement here."

The couple enjoyed a romantic dinner at NYC’s Oak Tuscan Truffle Lounge for Valentine’s Day 2023. Gia took to her Instagram Stories to document the outing, which included a truffle-topped burger, truffle pasta, and red wine.

Gia acknowledged her love for Christian with a heartfelt post in March 2023. Sharing a sweet date-night photo of herself and her boyfriend in an Instagram Story, Gia sweetly captioned the picture “my person,” adding a red heart emoji.

This summer, Gia and her boyfriend jet-setted to Europe for a fabulous multi-country vacation, and documented their excursions on Instagram. Their trip included a jaunt in Marseille, France, complete with a wine-filled dinner and a fabulous view. Christian also shared a photo of his girlfriend at the trendy sushi restaurant Tree House by UM in Palma De Mallorca, Spain.
While in Greece, the couple enjoyed some time poolside while admiring a sunset over the Aegean Sea. Gia then posted a few photos of her and Christian’s dinner at Izakaya in Ibiza, which she shared more about on TikTok.
“We went to a restaurant called Izakaya. It was so good,” she said. “I loved the vibes of this place. The scenery was absolutely beautiful… the food was so good. This was probably the coolest tuna tartare I have ever seen in my entire life. Like, the display was just awesome, and this crispy rice was also to die for.”

Gia and Christian seem to share a fun Halloween tradition which started in 2020. That year, the duo dressed as Bonnie and Clyde for Halloween. The coordinated getups continued in 2021 when they paid homage to the iconic film Grease by dressing up as the movie’s central couple, Sandy and Danny Zuko. For Halloween 2022, Gia went as Harley Quinn while Christian coordinated with her in a Joker costume.
