Garcelle Explains Why She's "Really Disappointed" by Crystal's RHOBH Exit
Garcelle Beauvais felt like the former diamond holder was "just getting her voice" on RHOBH.
When Crystal Kung Minkoff confirmed her "bittersweet" exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after three seasons, Garcelle Beauvais was affected by the news.
Both Crystal and Garcelle joined the cast back in Season 10, so the two shared a unique bond as 'Wives on the show. During a recent chat with Access Hollywood at the grand opening of Lisa Vanderpump's restaurant, Wolf, Garcelle shared her raw reaction to Crystal's departure.

Garcelle first learned about Crystal's departure when she saw a post about it online.
"I was shocked by the news," Garcelle told Access Hollywood, which is why she reached out to Crystal directly after she saw the headline. "And someone sent me the post, and I forwarded [it] to her, and I said, 'Tell me this is not true.' And then she goes, 'I was gonna call you.'"

When Garcelle did connect with Crystal, the mom of two told her that she was leaving the show.
"I'm bummed, because I feel like she was just getting her voice," Garcelle continued. "I'm really disappointed too, and, like she said, I think it's bittersweet for her."
While confirming her departure, Crystal referred to the decision as "very bittersweet."
"I just wanted to share the news that I will not be coming back to film Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," she said in a video she shared on Instagram. "It's very bittersweet. Never did I think I would have been asked to do the show in a million years, let alone film it for three seasons. Every single year I was asked back, it was a blessing. It was an honor."
"I just wanted to thank you guys for being such an incredible support for me, and I hope that I have been for you, sharing my story with my ED [eating disorder], sharing stories about my father and his Alzheimer's," she continued. "I've heard so many incredible stories from you guys."

Garcelle wasn't the only Bravolebrity who was disappointed to learn that Crystal would not be returning to RHOBH.
Kyle Richards, another one of Crystal's castmates, sounded off on the news during an Amazon Live stream.
"It made me sad, of course..." Kyle said, though she recognizes that Crystal's post-RHOBH future is bright. "She's gonna be great."
When Andy Cohen watched the video of Crystal announcing her exit on Instagram, he had a nothing but respect for the former diamond holder.
"It was just so eloquent and classy, I thought. I was like, 'Wow, that's the way to do it,'" he said during a broadcast of Radio Andy. "I just thought it was great," he added.
