Garcelle Beauvais Weighs In on Dorit Kemsley's Split from PK: "I Just Hope..."
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member can relate to Dorit's separation: "I've been through it."
Amid Dorit Kemsley's separation from Paul "PK" Kemsley, a few of the diamond holders are reacting.
Garcelle Beauvais, who will appear on the upcoming 14th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alongside Dorit and fellow returners Kyle Richards, Sutton Stracke, and Erika Jayne, as well as newbie Bozoma "Boz" Saint John, shared her thoughts on the "sad" split during a recent catch-up with Entertainment Tonight.
Garcelle, whose previous marriages to Daniel Saunders and Mike Nilon both ended in divorce, admitted that she feels for PK and Dorit's separation on a personal level.
"I think it's sad any time a family breaks up," she told Entertainment Tonight about the pair's split, which they announced via a joint statement on May 9. "I've been through it."

When she split up with her first ex-husband, Garcelle's eldest son, Oliver Saunders, was still a pre-teen. The actress then separated from talent agent Mike in 2010, when their twin sons, Jax and Jaid, were just three years old.
Continuing to reflect on Dorit and PK's "sad" split, Garcelle noted that it was "especially" upsetting because the estranged spouses have "little kids," Jagger and Phoenix.
"Nobody wants that," she continued. "I just hope at the end everybody comes out OK and puts the kids first."

Garcelle wasn't the only RHOBH castmate who publicly weighed in on PK and Dorit's major marital announcement.
Kyle Richards, whose friendship with Dorit hit a major roadblock on RHOBH Season 13, called the separation "difficult."
"I feel bad for them, obviously you know going through that is difficult enough without everybody wanting to know all the details," Kyle said during an Amazon Live stream on May 15. "So, you know, I feel terribly for them."
RHOBH alum Lisa Vanderpump, who used to be quite close to both Dorit and PK, felt similarly to Garcelle regarding the couple's young kids.
Noting at first on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that she "wasn't surprised" by the split, Lisa said, "But, as always, my feelings are, I think it's sad when children are involved and I hope they work it out. I really do."
As for why she wasn't surprised by the pair's Instagram announcement, Lisa said that she had heard rumors about Dorit and PK.
"I do have a mutual friend — well, a few mutual friends actually, with PK — and I kind of heard from the hotel that he was staying in for many months, that they had been separated for quite a long time," she said about the alleged info. "On and off, backwards and forwards. So no, it didn't surprise me."
