Fredrik Eklund's brand-new downtown New York City apartment is slowly but surely "coming together."

It's been two months since the Million Dollar Listing New York real estate agent sealed the deal, signed on the dotted line, and got the keys for the Greenwich Village condo. And now he's finally sharing some of the progress that he's made on the home, which is just one of 28 exclusive residences in the iconic Brick building, complete with arched windows and beautiful ivy crawling across them.

Fredrik took to his Instagram Story on Thursday, Dec. 19, where he posted a photo of one of the rooms inside the condo. In the photo, two people can be seen standing on sandy wood floors, holding up a larger-than-life circular canvas, adorned with dozens of people painted on it. The painting is a stunning statement piece, giving the homeowner and visitors so much to look at. But this isn't the only exciting feature of the room — the painting is going to be hung on velvet walls. Yes, pink velvet walls.

Fredrik detailed the progress in a blurb written on the photo. "64 University Place is coming together," he wrote. "And yes, those are pink velvet walls..." It's just a little unclear what room in the house this is — if it's the living room, primary bedroom, or a bedroom belonging to his twins. Whatever the case may be, this room is definitely something to talk about.

The dad of two had previously announced his big purchase in an Instagram post on Sept. 19. Fredrik took to the social media platform at the time, where he posted a video of him, standing on the balcony in the new place, holding his keys. He also shared a number of photos from the interior and exterior of the building, showing off the gorgeous light, high ceilings, and private balcony space.

"It's always such a special feeling buying a new home full of new beginnings," he wrote in the caption of the post. "New York is always a home to me. This building is very special as I signed the very first contract after having worked on it in pre-development for years with the team. I just knew how beautiful it would turn out."

Fredrik continued, remarking on how beautiful the building is. "People stop on the street now when it's finished and take photos of the façade: what Kohn Pedersen Fox designed with the warm brick and arches is just so stunning and fits in perfectly with the history of Greenwich Village," he wrote. "Anyway, we closed $50M worth of residences this week with another $80M coming to close before the end of the month."
