Fredrik Eklund's Connecticut Home Is So Magical For Christmas (PHOTO)
The MDLNY and MDLLA alum and his family traveled up north to their country escape for the holidays.
Fredrik Eklund just proved having Christmas in Connecticut is always the right idea.
Since the Million Dollar Listing New York and Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles alum and his husband, Derek Kaplan, plus their twins, Milla and Freddy, left Los Angeles in 2023, they moved to Miami. In addition to their Florida abode, they also own a residence in Connecticut, which Fredrik purchased in 2016. Judging by Fredrik's recent Instagram Story post, it appears the family headed up north for the holidays and were met a white Christmas to boot.
In the stunning December 25 snapshot, Fredrik showed off his gorgeous home surrounded by lots of snow. The Georgian-style home features a beautiful whitewash brick exterior dark shutters, and glowed from within. Though the family didn't put up any lights for the holidays, the stunning home looked as magical as ever in the snowy landscape.

Fredrik and his family also enjoy their east coast getaway during the summer months.
Back in July, the real estate agent shared numerous snapshots from the home's interior, which features a giant kitchen, cozy living room with a fireplace, and even a sauna room with a view of the outdoors.
"The view from the sauna in glass I built is inspired by my childhood in Sweden..." Fredrik wrote over the photo of the jaw-dropping image. "The most zen place in my world is sitting here sweating and meditating."
Earlier in the week, Fredrik also revealed photos of the outdoor spaces which are, in short, idyllic.
"Home is where the heart is," the dad of two wrote over the shot, also praising their "new gardener Adam" for his stellar landscaping work.
Back in 2016, Fredrik spoke with The Daily Dish about his decision to purchase the country escape located in Roxbury, Connecticut.
"We looked at like 10 houses and I can't describe it. I started crying when I went in there. It's the most beautiful thing ever, ever," he shared at the time of the 5,144-square-foot property that has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. "It's two guys that are designers from New York [one of whom is John Michael Murphy, who previously owned the home]. We don't know them, but they're geniuses. We're buying all the furniture, everything. It's really gorgeous."
While we wait for a view of Fredrik and Derek's Miami abode, take a tour of their old LA home in the video above.
