Erin Lichy Sets the Record Straight on Her Marriage to Abe Lichy
The Real Housewives of New York City's Erin Lichy is clearing up any speculation about her marriage.
Erin Lichy and her husband, Abe Lichy, are still going strong.
The Real Housewives of New York City cast member confirmed as much when she took to her Instagram Story on Wednesday, October 2, reposting a photo of her and Abe taken on the red carpet and shared by an Instagram follower.
"Are you guys OK?" the follower asked, tagging Erin. "I definitely care more than I should..." they noted.
Erin, however, clarified everything when she reposted the photo to her story. "Yes cutie," Erin wrote, along with the prayer hands emoji.
Erin Lichy and Abe Lichy's relationship on RHONY Season 15
The marriage update comes just after the premiere of RHONY Season 15. A trailer for the new season (as seen in the video above) shows Erin at odds with her lawyer husband, and she even sheds a few tears after one particular argument.
The trailer is only a hint at what is to come for the couple this season, though. Per Erin's cast bio for Season 15, she'll be forced to navigate "unexpected issues with her husband, Abe."
Erin Lichy and Abe Lichy's family life
Despite experiencing their fair share of ups and downs over the course of their 12-year union, today, Erin and Abe remain committed to focusing on their marriage, their three kids, and raising their family in a healthy environment.
In an October 2023 interview with The Daily Dish, the couple opened up about how focused they are on their kids.
"Our lives really do revolve around our family," Abe said. "We spend a lot of time with our children. On the show, there are all these little snippets of us, you know, how can we get away from the kids? And like, yes, we love our alone time, but what doesn't get shown is the fact that we're always with our kids because we love them, and we love doing things with our kids."
The couple values their alone time, too. As Erin told TODAY in February 2024, "Every relationship has ebbs and flows, but we make a lot of time for ourselves, not even with our kids. It seems so simple, but it gets really hard when you get busy with work and kids and everything. But it makes the biggest difference."
