Erika Jayne Shares an Inside Look at Preparations for Her Las Vegas Residency
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member is willing to Bet It All on Blonde. Here’s what she’s doing in the months leading up to the show.
Erika Jayne is about to Bet It All on Blonde. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member announced her Las Vegas residency — which has a name inspired by her flaxen tresses — back in April.
The show kicks off on August 25, which means Erika is already in rehearsal mode. In a series of recent Instagram posts, the new queen of Las Vegas shared a behind-the-scenes look at her preparations for Bet It All on Blonde.
Erika Jayne Prepares for Her Las Vegas Residency
In a post from July 21, the blonde beauty shared a stunning black-and-white photo of herself and geotagged the Las Vegas Strip. “I can’t believe the time has arrived,” she wrote in her caption. “Today we start working on my [Bet It All on Blonde] residency. I am so excited to share with all of you the magic we are creating!”
In her Instagram Stories, the “Pretty Mess” singer offered a look at how the magic is made. One photo, snapped on July 20, revealed that Erika was auditioning singers for the show. “Here we go!!!” she excitedly wrote, showing off the red-carpeted studio where auditions were held.
She also shared a picture of a sign-in sheet, which asked talent to list their name and agency. “So excited to start rehearsals Monday with my new [Pretty Mess Boyz],” Erika wrote. She tagged dancers Davis Taylor Rahal, Matt McCall, Ned Zaina, and Pierre Pyer.
Yet another behind-the-scenes snap showed Erika at an airport, hanging out with her “dream team.” The crew included her creative director Mikey Minden and musician Kevin Teasley.
Erika Jayne has “never been more excited”
On April 25, the RHOBH cast member appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen to chat about the residency. “I am smiling from ear to ear,” she announced. “I have never been more excited. You must come. Bet It All on Blonde, August 25 through December 6. You gotta come!”
Andy was thrilled for Erika. “What a comeback story, honestly. I mean, I’m so happy. You must be so excited,” the WWHL host said. (Hear Erika reflect on the rough patch in her life in the clip above.)
Andy also noted, “I gotta tell you, you look like a million bucks!” Erika took the compliment in stride. “Thank you. Well, you know, you gotta be show-ready, honey. You gotta show up and turn the ship around, and I did it.”
How Erika Jayne Announced Her Residency on Instagram
When Erika announced her residency on Instagram, she did so with an incredibly heartfelt post.
“After darkness comes light. 365 days ago I was at one of the lowest points in my life. Thanks to your love and support, it is with tears in my eyes that I announce my first Las Vegas Residency: BET IT ALL ON BLONDE,” she wrote in a mid-April post.
“To anyone who’s ever told you that something isn’t possible, that you’re not good enough, or that they don’t believe in you — DREAMS DO COME TRUE. I’m forever grateful for all of you who have been with me through this journey and I’m so excited to celebrate life’s moments with you starting August 25th! Let’s go Vegas!!!”
Where is Erika Girardi now?
Well, in her "happy place" rehearsing in Las Vegas. She opened up more about this next chapter in an Instagram post as she continues the work on her show, writing, "I am halfway through my first week of rehearsals and I couldn’t be more grateful to be back in my happy place with some of the most talented and creative people in this industry! We have lots of work to do but all I can say is, YOU’RE NOT READY!"
