Emily and Shane Simpson Show "What 15 Years of Marriage Looks Like" on Valentine's Day
The RHOC couple's Valentine's Day and anniversary celebration included dinner at The Cheesecake Factory and shopping for their newly renovated kitchen.
At BravoCon 2023, Emily Simpson teased that she and Shane Simpson might "redo" their wedding in Las Vegas to celebrate their 15th marriage anniversary. However, it seems The Real Housewives of Orange County couple ultimately decided to take a more low-key approach to their special day.
On February 14, Emily shared an Instagram Story video taken in the car as she and Shane drove to dinner. "It's our 15-year anniversary," she said. "After 15 years of marriage, and you go out to dinner, this is how you dress."
"I am [in] sweats, and Shane [has] on the same Vans sweatshirt that he's probably had on for a week now, and there you go," she added. "There you have it. This is what 15 years of marriage looks like right here."
To that, Shane sweetly noted, "15 years looks good on you."

For their celebratory meal, Shane explained that he "offered Thai food," but Emily "said Cheesecake Factory." Indeed, Emily declared, "We're going to The Cheesecake Factory."
Their outing also included time for shopping. "[15-year] anniversary spent buying kitchen stuff at Williams Sonoma," Emily captioned an Instagram Story video of Shane browsing for some items.
As he held up a red apron, Emily explained, "I don't need an apron. No, thank you." Moving on, Shane exclaimed, "Oh, oven mitts, Emily. What color do you want?" When Emily said, "I don't want oven mitts," Shane insisted, "They can match your apron," which made Emily laugh.
Holding up another set of oven mitts, Shane asked once more, "How about this one?" and Emily said, "Okay."

Emily and Shane have been renovating their house over the past year-and-a-half, and as Emily shared in a February 8 Instagram Story video, the couple will soon have a beautiful new kitchen to use those oven mitts in.
"Making progress!" Emily wrote in the clip that showed her kitchen update. "New slabs are in!"
Although Emily and Shane are happy to have a date night in sweats, on the nights Emily opts for a fancy outfit and glam, she involves Shane in her getting-ready process. To see for yourself, press play on the video above.
