Dr. Simone Whitmore Is Trying to Get Shanique Drummond to Move to Atlanta
The Married to Medicine friends shared a glimpse at their recent reunion in Georgia.
Though they live in different states, Dr. Simone Whitmore and Shanique Drummond maintain a close friendship. The Married to Medicine physician and Married to Medicine Los Angeles cast member took to Instagram to document their recent reunion in Atlanta, also capturing Simone’s hilarious attempts to get Shanique to move there permanently.
On October 1, Simone shared a video of the duo enjoying a dinner out during Shanique’s visit to Atlanta. “[Shanique] is in the #ATL & ready to slay!” she wrote in the caption of the clip.
In the video, Simone can be heard urging Shanique to ditch Los Angeles and move to Atlanta. “You moving? Get rid of the LAX,” Simone says, joking that she and Cecil Whitmore can help Shanique and her husband, Robert Drummond, find new jobs.
Despite her best efforts, it looks like Shanique isn’t quite on board with making the move, as captured below.
While she may not be ready to pack her bags just yet, she was obviously thrilled about getting some quality with Simone. “Dinner with my big sis @drsswhit,” she wrote while posting the same clip to her own Instagram. “Feels so good to be back home in the ATL.”
