Lisa Nicole Cloud and Kari Wells React to Dr. Heavenly Kimes Calling Them "Recycled Friends"
The Married to Medicine dentist isn't holding back her feelings when it comes to these returning alums.
They're back! Married to Medicine alums Kari Wells and Lisa Nicole Cloud made their triumphant return to the series in the April 4 episode when they stopped by Toya Bush-Harris' house for a pool party. However, not everyone seemed so happy to see them hanging out with the group again.
The preview for next week's episode of Married to Medicine teased that Toya will be bringing Kari and Lisa Nicole to hang out with the rest of the group at Dr. Contessa Metcalfe's celestial celebration of friendship and love. In the sneak peek, Dr. Heavenly Kimes can be seen remarking, in reference to Kari and Lisa Nicole, "I don't know why Toya walks in with these recycled friends."
Kari responded to Dr. Heavenly's comments, which also appeared in the trailer for Season 8 of Married to Medicine, on Instagram while sharing a photo of herself and Toya from Season 1. "There are NO recycled friends here boo," Kari shared. "@toyabushharris and I have had each other’s backs since day ONE!"
Lisa Nicole also emphasized her longtime loyalty to Toya. "I appreciate you Toya," she tweeted as the episode of Married to Medicine aired. "No recycled friends here."
Lisa Nicole added in another tweet, "@Dr_Heavenly Never ever been recycled. Like it or not ....I'm back boo to have some fun. Let the shenanigans begin!"
Toya also came to her friends' defense, saying of Kari on Instagram that she "has had my back since Day One!!! Real ones don’t forget…"
Toya reiterated on Twitter that Kari is her "Day One" and added that "@Dr_Heavenly has no clue... she has no true friends."
The Married to Medicine dentist responded to Toya's tweet by poking a little fun at her misspeaking earlier this season. "I’m friends with my 'childs,'" Dr. Heavenly tweeted.
Still, the Married to Medicine ladies definitely enjoyed their time together by the pool. "Love hanging at Casa de Toya," Kari wrote on Instagram. "We always have fun."
Toya also shared how much she appreciated catching up with Kari and Lisa Nicole in an interview during the April 4 episode of Married to Medicine. "It is so much more fun to reconnect with friends that actually know how to have a good time," she said. "And so now I can actually get back to just doing Toya."
