Dr. Contessa Metcalfe Sends a Romantic Message to Her "Handsome" Husband for His Birthday
The Married to Medicine doctor shares a sweet birthday tribute to her hubby, Dr. Scott Metcalfe.
Dr. Contessa Metcalfe is showing lots of love to her husband, Dr. Scott Metcalfe, on his birthday. The Married to Medicine mom, who shares three children with Dr. Scott, recently took to Instagram to share a sweet birthday tribute to her hubby with a solo snapshot of him and a heartwarming message.
"Happy birthday handsome…and thank you for choosing me to create an empire with," Dr. Contessa wrote in the caption of the November 8 post, alongside a heart emoji and William Ernest Henley's poem "Invictus." Married to Medicine's Dr. Jackie Walters also sent birthday wishes to Dr. Scott, writing, "Happy birthday [Dr. Scott Metcalfe]" in the comments.
Last week, Dr. Scott also showed appreciation for his wife by sharing an adorable video of the couple dressed up for Halloween. "King and Queen Shine Together Forever!" he titled the video clip, which featured the husband-and-wife duo snuggled together in their stunning costumes.
Though the couple had previously hit some snags in their relationship, Dr. Contessa opened up about rebuilding their bond and working to resolve prior marital issues. Earlier this year, the pair celebrated 16 years of marriage with Dr. Contessa commemorating the special day in a romantic tribute. “Happy Anniversary to the magnificent man and father who chose to spend his life with me 16 years ago! [Dr. Scott Metcalfe] knows I would take a bullet for him with no hesitation!” she wrote in the May 27 Instagram post.
The Married to Medicine mom and dad have also been spending lots of quality time with their three children — daughters Lauren and Laila and son Landon. Recently, Dr. Contessa revealed her teenage daughter Lauren's skills on her skateboard in a fun October 15 post. "Quietly she KILT IT!" wrote the proud mom in the caption.
Dr. Scott captured his own special moment with their younger daughter, Laila, as they read together.
And Dr. Scott also shared a sweet tribute to son Landon with a lovely photo of both of them, writing in the caption of the October 15 post, "More than proud of this young gifted, talented and yet hardworking 'King' right here. Me and my village are truly blessed to pave a way for you young man."
