It’s no secret that 2024 brought many challenges for Dorit, specifically when it came to her relationships. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom not only announced her marital split from Paul “PK” Kemsley but also found herself at odds with her longtime friend Kyle Richards. Dorit said the rifts and uncertainty took a major toll on her, so much so she nearly quit RHOBH after six seasons.

Dorit says she was "tired" of her castmates "treating [her] like sh-t"

The Housewife shed more light on the dilemma in a recent interview with Voguesaying she was simply “tired with the bulls--t” she experienced in Season 13.

“I was so tired of this and that, and some of the ladies mistaking my kindness for weakness and treating me like sh-t and being horrible,” Dorit explained. “It was Erika [Jayne], really, who felt like my only friend in the group.”

The mother of two admitted she was still debating up until the 11th hour, but decided to return after speaking to her former castmate Lisa Rinna.

“[Lisa] said, ‘You sound like you have big feelings.’ She said, ‘If you’re over it, there’s a whole world on the other side,’” Dorit recalled. “If not, then go in there and speak your truth, no holds barred.’ And I thought, ‘You know what? She’s absolutely right. I’ve got a lot to say…. I thought to myself, ‘If I’m gonna do the show, obviously, it’s talking about everything, putting everything out there.’”

Dorit shares her outlook for 2025: "I'm really pleased..."

So, does Dorit regret keeping her diamond for Season 14? Absolutely not. In fact, she says her return was necessary.

”It was liberating. Even personally, I needed it,” she told the outlet. “I’ve heard a lot of, ‘Dorit finally found her voice.’ I don’t think that’s the case. I think for a time I felt broken, and I was fractured. I didn’t have a lot of support from the women. I didn’t have a lot of support from my husband. And being able to come out of such a dark place, and a lonely place, and then to start to feel this confidence and strength."

She continued: "This was the season that I needed to do. And I’m really pleased to see the audience resonating with it. I’m looking forward to a very strong, very empowered 2025.”

Dorit shares her honest thoughts on her castmates' confessionals

Although she insisted she’s happy about her return, Dorit admitted RHOBH Season 14 can sometimes be difficult to watch — especially when her castmates discuss her in episode interviews.

“It’s never easy to hear the ladies saying terrible things about you,” she explained. “I like to see when people are talking shit, quite frankly, because [if] they don’t have the balls to say it to your face, they’ll say it in their confessional. And I always think that’s such a chicken way out... There are some women in the group that will be very silent and not share their feelings and then [it’ll] flash to their confessional and they’ve got a lot to say. But listen, that’s the nature of it.”
