Leah McSweeney Reacts to Dorinda Medley's RHONY Exit: "I Will Never Forget"
The RHONY newcomer reflected on the memories she has shared with Dorinda in her first season.
After joining the cast in Season 7 for six seasons, Dorinda Medley has announced her exit from The Real Housewives of New York City. The queen of iconic catchphrases shared the news in an emotional Instagram post on August 25, and RHONY newcomer Leah McSweeney has since reacted to the announcement.
“Thank you @dorindamedley for always having my back and supporting me and lifting me up,” Leah wrote in an Instagram caption alongside a photo of her and Dorinda with The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Melissa Gorga at BravoCon.
Leah also thanked Dorinda for a few specific memories the duo shared together, including “lending me your YSL caftan,” and “comforting me after the Newport debacle, and many other moments I will never forget.”
Dorinda reflected on her time as a RHONY cast member, writing, “What a journey this has been. I have laughed and cried and tried to Make it Nice... But all things must come to an end. This was a great outlet for me to heal when my late husband Richard passed away. I have met so many interesting people and learned so much about myself, about life and about women along the was. Thank you to Bravo and NBC for the incredible ride and to my cast mates for constant stimulation and entertainment. I wish you all health, happiness and success. Clip! Dorinda."
Leah also commented on Dorinda’s post to note, “I’m gonna miss you,” while Andy Cohen dropped in to say, “What a ride. Unforgettable.”
