Dolores Catania Revealed Frank was Living with David Principe After His Injury
The RHONJ cast member dished about how close her ex-husband and current boyfriend are.
Frank Catania is back to his old self following a pretty serious injury he suffered back in February. The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Dolores Catania's ex-husband was hospitalized for dislocating his kneecap and tearing both of his quads after suffering a fall; he later underwent surgery. And it turns out when he was recovering and in self-quarantine amid the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, he spent a lot of time with David Principe — Dolore's longtime boyfriend.
"Frank was living with David during lockdown because he did break both his legs and he is doing much better," Dolores confirmed on the November 22 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "He's made a full recovery — he insisted on making a full recovery. He's back at the gym and he's walking pretty good, but it was a very scary time for us."
Earlier this year, in the midst of his recovery, Frank reflected on the injury and the steps he's taken to get back to his normal routine.
He wrote on Instagram in July, "Back on February 10, I suffered what was probably the worst injury of my life. I took a fall and tore both my quads from the bones. On February 12, I had surgery. As @dolorescatania let the entire IG world know, it was going to big my biggest challenge to rebound from this injury. The doctors told me it was going to be 8-12 months before I was back to normal and I had lost nearly 20 lbs from not training...Thanks to @saviorsarms and my trainer @nickworldclass, it's only 5 months after surgery and I’m doing legs again. I have gained back 18 lbs of what I lost and still gaining. They provided the necessary supplements to speed up the recovery and @nickworldclass has more knowledge and experience than any trainer I have ever come in contact with in the 40 years I’ve been in this industry. I will be back better than before and thank you to @nickworldclass for making it happen."
