Are Dolores Catania & Teresa Giudice Hoping Frankie and Gia Might End Up Together?
The RHONJ moms reveal how they really feel about the possibility of their kids dating.
It was only last year that Teresa Giudice’s eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, brought Dolores Catania’s son, Frankie Catania, as her date to her senior prom, proving that they would make one seriously gorgeous couple. Though the two never officially started dating, it looks like their moms haven’t given up on the possibility, as they shared during their recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
While answering questions from fans during the November 22 episode of WWHL, both of The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members couldn’t help but reiterate how thrilled they would be to see Gia and Frankie get together one day.
“We would love that. We’re happy with where they are now, but…” Dolores said, while Teresa chimed in to state, “Yeah, maybe in the future. You never know what happens in the future.”
Even Andy voiced his support for the potential relationship. “It would make two moms very happy to see that, I can tell you,” Dolores said, to which Andy responded, “I would be pretty happy too. That’s a wedding I’d like to officiate.”
While their moms may be hoping for a future romance between the two, Gia and Frankie are busy doing their own thing for the time being. Gia is currently in her sophomore year at Rutgers University and went public with her new relationship with boyfriend Christian Carmichael in July. Meanwhile, Frankie is staying focused on his career, as Dolores revealed earlier this year.
“Frankie is very conscious of the fact that because of the line of work that he is going into — investment banking — that’s 16 hours a day … he can’t give a girl what she needs right now,” she explained back in February.
