Destiney Rose and Mike Shouhed Address Their Emotional Beach Conversation Amid Their Drama

During the June 27 episode of Shahs of Sunset, Destiney Rose and Mike Shouhed were dealing with the fallout of their argument at the Halloween party from the episode prior. They agreed to meet up to discuss the matter.

The heart-to-heart included the castmates discussing the events of the Halloween party at Destiney's house and how everything that transpired between them had affected them and their issues. Mike told Destiney he loves her and that he wants to be "respectful" towards her and her emotions to try and get their relationship to a better place. She agreed to see where they might be able to go.

Destiney appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday and shared an update on how she feels about the matter today: "I felt like I could breathe better, however, I'm super-hesitant still. I'm taking little steps. I have my guards up. But I'm trying. I'm trying to get to a better place."

She also revealed how she feels now about comments Mike made about her at the Halloween party regarding money and wealth and her status. "I don't want people to know what I have," she said. "For someone to say that, first of all, disgusting [and then] second of all, just speaks volumes."

Mike also addressed the spiritual moment he had on the beach in the episode before Destiney arrived in a lengthy Instagram message:

"There comes a point in a [man's] life, when he has an awakening [and] really realizes what are the most important things to him, that he would die for! This last year was [one] hell of a roller coaster for most of us. I decided to start a spiritual journey [and] connect with God on a deeper level than just belief. I speak to him daily to guide me, so I can be the man, who I know I can be. I’m working hard on stripping my ego, being more vulnerable [and] transparent, working on self love [and] becoming a better communicator. This scene from the next episode of #Shahs will show you that side of me again. Enjoy [and] thank you all for the years of support! Our show would be nothing without you, the loyal fans. We love you!!"

There was still more to address regarding Season 9 of Shahs of Sunset on WWHL. Destiney also shared her take on the texts involving Mike, as well as her thoughts on Mike and Paulina Ben-Cohen's relationship, below.

Mike revealed an update on the couple on Instagram over the weekend, writing, "Unbothered, in love [and] enjoying every minute!" he wrote, adding, "Baby, we are just like these waters…we make beautiful waves [and] people are intrigued yet afraid of its power."
