Denise Richards Finally Addresses Her RHOBH Season 13 Appearance at Kyle's Dinner Party

Diamonds come and go, but Denise Richards is forever.
On Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the actress made her highly-anticipated return to the series, and she made quite the impact, to say the least. Bravo fans got their first look at Denise back onscreen on Season 13, Episode 5 during Garcelle Beauvais' movie screening, but that wouldn't be the last time we'd see the RHOBH alum.
Denise reunited with the diamond holders again on Season 13, Episode 7 for dinner at Kyle Richards' home. What was supposed to be a night spent hanging out, soon took an unexpected turn, partly due to an awkward conversation between Denise and Erika Jayne (clip above).
In the end, the two managed to resolve their problems. However, Denise's demeanor from that night became a major topic of discussion. As Erika put it, Denise’s actions were “on another level.”
With that in mind, Denise is now setting the record straight on her behavior from that night, including how she felt when she watched it back on TV. Read on for details.
Denise Richards addresses her behavior on RHOBH Season 13
While appearing on the On Display with Melissa Gorga podcast, Denise shared that she was “sick” and wasn’t feeling 100 percent the day of the dinner party but decided to still attend. "I didn't want to not go because I didn't want them to say, 'Oh, she didn't show up,’” Denise explained.
Right after, Denise addressed all the chatter about her behavior from that eventful dinner, asking Melissa, “Why did everyone make such a big deal with me?" From there, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member offered up a possible explanation noting that, in her opinion, Denise is a “superstar” and “personable."
As for Denise’s final words on the situation? She said: “I made an asshole out of myself."
Why was Denise Richards upset with Erika Jayne?
Although Denise never revealed to Erika what she was upset about, she did provide an explanation to Garcelle, Crystal Kung Minkoff, and Sutton Stracke during a lunch on the December 12, 2023 episode of RHOBH.
“You know we had a dinner party, and we were talking about threesomes with my kids at another table,” Denise told the trio, referencing a past moment during Season 10. When it came to why Denise wanted to revisit the encounter, she admitted that she wanted Erika to “acknowledge” and “apologize” for the incident.
Where do Denise Richards and Erika Jayne stand today?
Ultimately, the two are currently not on speaking terms. Erika revealed as much during a recent interview with ET. When asked if she had spoken to Denise since their fight on RHOBH Season 13, Erika simply responded, "No."
