Cynthia Bailey Calls out Kenya Moore for Being "S---ty" at Her Surprise Engagement
Kenya Moore reveals whether or not she regrets The Real Housewives of Atlanta moment today.
Kenya Moore's return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been filled with drama. She crashed Marlo Hampton's wig launch event with none other than a marching band in tow, invited the Cookie Lady to lunch with the wife of the man she allegedly flirted with, Tanya Sam, and had one of the most heated confrontations with Nene Leakes ever in Greece.
But one of the Kenya moments of RHOA Season 12 that we are really still reeling from is when Kenya told Cynthia Bailey that she felt like her then-boyfriend Mike Hill was going to propose to her at the Bailey Wine Cellar opening right before he did, in fact, pop the question.
Though Kandi Burruss immediately pulled Kenya aside and told her that she had just ruined the surprise, Cynthia said during The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 12 After Show that she "didn't really think much of it" in the moment. It wasn't until later when Cynthia questioned why Kenya would have said such a thing after getting a hint from Kandi that something special was about to happen at the event.
"There was just a lot going on that I didn't know about, but after watching everything play out and pretty much me watching Kandi tell her, 'This is going to happen,' then at that point I was like, 'Now that was a little s---ty,'" Cynthia recalled of watching the episode back. "Kenya knows good and well if Marc [Daly] was trying to surprise her with anything, I would never come up to her and tell her. I mean, what was she doing, giving me a head's up? It couldn't have been a head's up. I was already at the place."
Kenya said in the After Show that she was skeptical about how much Cynthia really didn't see Mike's proposal coming, considering the fact that she had previously spoken so openly about them getting married one day. "I feel like if she hadn't been telling everybody every second, it would have been a different situation," Kenya said. "Do you really think she was surprised because this is a woman who has talked about getting proposed to every single day, posting pictures on Instagram about wedding dresses and picking out the cake flavor, all before she's actually gotten engaged?"
But if Kenya could go back and do things differently that night, she would. "I still regret doing it," she ultimately shared. "I do regret doing it because had it been spoiled, you can never get that moment back."
