Cynthia Bailey Actually Ghosted Mike Hill When They First Started Dating
The RHOA newlyweds are spilling details about how they first met.
Days after tying the knot, Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill are looking back at the start of their relationship. The Real Housewives of Atlanta newlyweds recently spilled more details about how they met, revealing that Cynthia actually ghosted Mike right after their first date.
According to The New York Times, Cynthia and Mike first crossed paths while appearing on an episode of Steve Harvey’s talk show in January 2018. About a month later, they went on their first official date, which concluded with the duo sharing their first kiss. Though the date went well, Mike reveals that Cynthia later failed to follow through on plans for a second outing.
“I had some distractions,” Cynthia admitted to The New York Times.
Luckily, the two eventually got back in touch and agreed to go out on a second date — and the rest is history. The RHOA couple got married earlier this month at the Governors Towne Club in Acworth, Georgia, a little over a year after Mike popped the question.
Cynthia has since shared several stunning photos from their wedding day, capturing their first dance and the bridal party.
On October 14, Cynthia also celebrated their newlywed status with a sweet snapshot of her and her new husband flashing their wedding rings. “The Hills,” she captioned the photo.
