Cynthia Bailey Gets Real About Her Dating Life: “It’s Just Been Very Interesting”
Plus, find out who The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum wants to “team up with” for double dates.
It’s official: Cynthia Bailey is having “a hot girl summer.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum declared as much in a recent interview with The U.S. Sun while discussing her return to the dating game following her October 2022 divorce from ex-husband Mike Hill.
Cynthia Bailey’s Dating Life
“It’s just been very interesting being back outside and single at 56,” Cynthia said. “However, age does not define Ms. Bailey’s life at all. If anything, I’m a believer it gets greater later and the best is yet to come. So, I’ve been having a really good time just being more social.”
Cynthia’s Dating Methods
When it comes to how she’s dating, Cynthia explained that she’s “covering all [her] bases” by being on the apps as well as having her friends introduce her to potential suitors.
“I’ve definitely met some cool guys on there,” she said of one app. “And definitely, you know, friends if they know someone and be like, ‘Oh yeah, you should meet Cynthia, whatever.’ I'm just kind of doing it that way.”
Cynthia Double Dating with Kenya Moore
Cynthia shared that she’s also down to go on double dates — particularly with Kenya Moore, who filed for divorce from ex-husband Marc Daly in 2021 (though the two publicly separated in 2019).
“I definitely need to team up with her and just be a double threat out in these streets,” Cynthia said of Kenya. “I definitely want to connect with Kenya, because I feel like two are better. Like, if we go outside together, between the two of us, we should be able to pull quite a few men over. We should be getting a lot of free drinks, I would imagine.”
What Cynthia Bailey Wants in Her Next Relationship
Though Cynthia said she has yet to meet anyone she could see herself in a serious relationship with, she is prepared to do things a little differently than she has in the past when the time comes.
“It’s important to me to get to know people way before I even think about being public with them,” Cynthia shared. “And honestly, even if I get to girlfriend status or fiancée status or wife status, I think I’ll keep my personal life a little more private this time.”
She’d also be willing to relocate for the right person. As she explained, “Right now, I know [my life’s] in Atlanta, [but] if I meet someone and they say, ‘Hey, we’re moving to Dubai,’ then, you know, I will cross that bridge when I get there.”
In the meantime, stay tuned for Cynthia’s cameo on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 15.
