Craig Wants Kids by *This* Age — and Admits He’d "Resent" Paige If It Doesn’t Happen

Though they've chatted through it time and time again, Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo haven't finished discussing their future as a couple. On the upcoming episode of Summer House (Season 8, Episode 11), set to air Thursday, May 2, the duo (once again!) sits down to chat marriage and children. And while they're not on completely different pages regarding their future family, Craig's five-year plan is a little less loose than his love's.

Craig Conover Wants Children in the Next Five Years

Paige and Craig's conversation — which is taking place during a champagne picnic by the river curated by Paige herself — gets serious after Paige says, "Sometimes I don't feel like I show that I appreciate you enough and that I love you, because I feel like I also throw a lot of things at you. Last year I was like, 'Oh, I don't want to get engaged yet. I don't want to move.' Some guys would be like 'Okay, see ya.' You kind of roll with whatever I throw at you."

After joking that Paige is in no way "easy," Craig does note that he isn't completely going with the flow.

"I would say that, recently, you know, with my business taking off and you talking about looking for new apartments, sometimes in my head I'm like, 'Yeah, I'm cool with this whole let's wait a little bit to get married thing.' But there are also some benefits to not waiting too long," he says. "I'm 35. I would like to have my first child by 40. I would start to have some resentment if I didn't."

The pillow designer adds that reaching 40 and having to start all over in a relationship would be hard for him. "I'd be like, 'Now I'm 40 years old and now I have to go, like, fall in love again and find a partner. You knew it, Craig. You knew it and your gut told you.'"

Paige DeSorbo's Engagement Timeline

"I'm not even in a place yet to even pick where I would potentially want to live and raise children," says Paige after Craig asks her when she'd like to tie the knot. "These are all questions that I have no idea the answer to, but I know it's with you."

In a confessional, Paige expands on her response: "I feel like Craig so knows what the next step in his life is, and for the first time in my life I don't know what my next step is. Being married and being a mother, I'm not ready for that yet. So I'm putting a bandaid on things because I don't want to deal with it until I can figure out what the f-ck is going on in my life."

Craig Conover Doesn't Always Know If Paige "Likes" Him

While Craig and Paige are no doubt in love, the Charleston boy isn't always sure how his girlfriend feels about him. "The only thing that ever gets to me is, like, sometimes I don't know if you like me or not, which might seem crazy to you," Craig shares. "Do you wake up every day and say, does she hate me or not?" asked Paige, giggling.

Later, she doubles down on how much she really does like him.

"I don't want you to ever think that because it's taking me a little bit longer it's something you're doing. I'm fully invested," she says. "Do you think I'm going to let you go now that you grew your hair out and you're dressed like Jordan Belfort?"

That's a big no. As we all know, style seals the deal for Ms. DeSorbo.
