Craig Conover and Shep Rose Reflect on Their Past Issues Over Craig's "Law Journey"
The Southern Charm buddies look back on their ups and downs amid Craig's career twists at BravoCon 2023.
In case you need a refresher, back in the day Shep Rose used to give Craig Conover a hard time about his career aspirations in the law. This was the early days of Southern Charm before Craig eventually passed the bar and, well, the rest is history.
When both of the Southern Charm cast members appeared at BravoCon 2023, they reflected on their past ups and downs, especially when it came to Shep's roasting of Craig's career plans (the latter of which has, of course, pursued a career in the law and is also a home decor and pillow mogul).
Shep Rose and Craig Conover Talk About Craig's "Law Journey"
During a panel at BravoCon 2023, which took place earlier this month in Las Vegas, the longtime buddies reflected on their past friction. "I've definitely gotten really angry with you," Craig shared in front of fans at the event. "Obviously, the law journey and pillow journey, I remember looking back and being like, 'oh man'... It gave it energy though."
Shep says that he has "egg on my face" in looking back on his comments when it came to his roasting of his pal.

Where Shep Rose and Craig Conover Stand Today
Also at BravoCon 2023, Shep shared an update on where the two BFFs stand today. "Craig and I have come a long, long way. We have never been closer," he revealed to the room. "We actually have adult conversations about the future and finances and stuff like that... It's really evolved into something nice."
What Shep Rose and Craig Conover Are Doing Now in Season 9 of Southern Charm
Well, you can check out Shep and Craig every Thursday when Season 9 of Southern Charm airs at 9/8c on Bravo. Episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
As teased at the beginning of the season, Craig is taking fans inside his home life and relationship with Paige DeSorbo this season: "The construction on Craig’s house is a work-in-progress, and so is his relationship status with Paige. Craig finds himself in dating limbo and is hoping for her to commit to a move down south."
As for Shep, well, he's also dealing with some changes in his life, as teased at the beginning of the season: "Fresh off a sabbatical in Australia, Shep has returned to Charleston and is ready to work on a friendship with Taylor, which proves difficult when he hears rumors about what she’s been up to while he was Down Under."
