Courtney Skippon Shares an Update on Where She Stands with Brian de Saint Pern Today

After Courtney Skippon and Brian de Saint Pern left Thailand following the culmination of Below Deck Season 7, the yachties did not continue to pursue their relationship. In fact, during Part 1 of the Below Deck Season 7 reunion, it was revealed that Courtney later went on to block Brian after receiving “aggressive” and “venomous” messages from him.

So where do these two stand today? Courtney shared an update while co-hosting the September 26 episode of The Daily Dish podcast, which you can listen to, below. 

When asked if she has spoken to Brian since the reunion, Courtney replied, “No, I have not.” She even clarified that the two did not exchange words after walking off set. 

“We had clarified that. Or, I thought that I had, like, long before the reunion happened, so it was sort of irritating to have to talk about it and re-explain all the reasons I had already said why that wouldn’t be happening,” she explained. “And it wasn’t really that acrimonious for me. It was just, I have boundaries for my friendships and the people that I allow into my life, and he was not meeting those boundaries, so…that was it.” 

Although Courtney has not since been in touch with Brian, there’s one Below Deck relationship she certainly still holds dear to her heart: her friendship with Kate Chastain. Courtney mentioned that she just can’t picture what her life would be like without Kate. 

“Can you imagine had I not been on that season? I think about it daily,” she said. “If I had just had that missed connection, and I had gotten someone else, I just don’t know what I would do. I feel so lucky!”
