The Celebrity Big Brother Season 3 cast was just announced earlier this week, and Season 2 houseguest Kandi Burruss has some feelings about it.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member took to Instagram on January 27 following the announcement to show her friend and fellow Housewife Cynthia Bailey some love as she joins Celebrity Big Brother Season 3 as a houseguest. "I’m excited for my girl @cynthiabailey for joining the new season of #CelebrityBigBrother!" Kandi wrote in the post, which featured a collection of photos of the ladies over the years, and added that everyone should "support my girl!"

Cynthia thanked Kandi for the kind words in the comments section of her Instagram post. And hopefully, Cynthia got the chance to get some advice from Kandi on being in the Celebrity Big Brother house since she previously competed in Season 2, coming in fifth place that year.

Kandi also shouted out her other pal set to appear in the new season of Celebrity Big Brother, Todrick Hall. "I have two friends on #CelebrityBigBrother! My bro @todrick is there. He is soooo competitive! I can’t wait to see what his strategy will be," Kandi said in another January 27 Instagram post, encouraging everyone to "show him so love!"

The Celebrity Big Brother Season 3 cast also includes a couple of other familiar faces to Bravo fans: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and Caron Kressley of Queer Eye's original Fab Five and Get a Room with Carson & Thom. The rest of the star-studded lineup includes Saturday Night Live alum Chris Kattan, NSYNC's Chris Kirkpatrick, actress and former Miss USA Shanna Moakler, Olympic medalist Mirai Nagasu, former UFC champion Miesha Tate, and NBA champion Lamar Odom.

Cynthia, whose daughter Noelle Robinson, husband Mike Hill, and stepdaughter Kayla Hill have also all cheered her on on social media, opened up about joining the Celebrity Big Brother cast after announcing her departure from RHOA in September 2021. "I just finished 11 years of doing The Real Housewives of Atlanta. I had such an amazing time on that show. And this is my next chapter," Cynthia recently told ET Canada. "So, all I really wanted, all I really prayed for in my next chapter, was to be able to continue to be on TV and to have fun. Well, hello? Celebrity Big Brother. It's television, and it's fun. So, thank you guys for making my dream come true."

Cynthia will also be back on our screens when Peacock's original series The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip premieres on Bravo on Tuesday, February 8 at 9/8c.

And in addition to Kandi returning for the upcoming Season 14 of RHOA, we'll also get a front-row seat to all the fun and drama that goes down at her Old Lady Gang restaurant when the new series Kandi & The Gang premieres on Sunday, March 6 at 9/8c.
