Caroline Reacts to Joe Giudice's Questionable Quip

Is Caroline Manzo defending a Giudice? "I don't think he meant it maliciously," the Real Housewives of New Jersey star spills to Wetpaint after Joe Giudice joked that Manzo BFF Greg, who is gay, "probably has the loosest" you-know-where. What brought on that ill-mannered quip? Fingers went flying after someone, err, passed gas on the private bus carrying the gang around Chicago while in town for Caroline's brother's wedding.

Even though she's short on supportive words for the Giudices these days, Mama Manzo does elaborate in Joe's favor, "I just think he says things and he doesn't understand that it's hurtful. He apologized right away."



Despite that hiccup, Caroline – who "winged" her speech during Jaime and Rich's wedding ceremony – writes in her Bravo blog that the big day went off without a hitch. "I'm amazed at how beautiful it was, considering it was planned and orchestrated within one month's time. From the horse-drawn carriage to the ceremony and party afterwards, it was pure perfection. It was an incredible event filled with lots of good food, love, and laughter."

Mazel to the newlyweds! "Jaime and Rich are two men that have committed themselves to each other over the past 13 years and have built a loving home and life together in spite of the fact that their relationship isn't recognized in the eyes of so many in today's society," our favorite fascinator hater says. "Good for them, I applaud their courage and I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness. They deserve it."
