Carl Radke Got Called Out in Reunion Moment That Didn’t Air: “I Will Die on That Hill”
Amanda Batula and Gabby Prescod clashed during the previously unseen Summer House Season 8 reunion moment.
Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard's intense sit-down on the Season 8 finale of Summer House — during which they broke up and called off their wedding — has been a huge topic of conversation for the exes throughout the two-part reunion, but it was actually Amanda Batula and Gabby Prescod who found themselves weighing in on the matter during a previously unseen moment that can now be viewed as part of the extended and uncensored reunion episode streaming exclusively on Peacock.
The newly uncovered moment begins with Lindsay and Carl going back and forth over his willingness to have their aforementioned conversation on camera. As Lindsay put it, "You would've thought, OK, maybe there was an off-camera moment to have a conversation about how you're feeling."
Carl then pointed out that they did have an off-camera discussion about their relationship days prior on the drive home from the Hamptons. Lindsay, however, replied, "My point is, you committed to a forever by proposing to someone. It shouldn't just be swept away in two weeks or two months."
"What's the playbook for that?" Carl responded. "I don't think there is one."

Amanda, for her part, agreed with Carl. As she put it, "There's no right way to break up."
That's when Gabby weighed in. "Definitely not doing it on f-cking camera is a way," she said. "I'm so sorry, I will die on that hill."
Amanda didn't argue, though. Instead, she replied, "I understand. I've had some sh-tty things happen to me on camera."
The discussion continued, but it was reunion host Andy Cohen who ultimately set the record straight regarding Lindsay and Carl's filmed conversation.
Did Carl Radke call Summer House producers to film his breakup with Lindsay Hubbard?
According to Andy, no. As he explained to the cast, "You guys don't decide what is shot on this show — production decides what is shot on this show. [Lindsay and Carl] had this horrible weekend, production wanted to follow up and see the aftermath of this terrible weekend. They shot [Carl and Kyle Cooke], they wanted to shoot [Carl and Lindsay]."
Andy added that he asked production whether or not they knew Carl and Lindsay were going to break up, and he said, "They told me they did not know."
