Captain Sandy Yawn Slams Bosun Iain in a Tense Conversation: "Your Plan Wasn't Working"

On Season 9, Episode 4 of Below Deck Mediterranean, Aesha Scott, Joe Bradley, and Gael Cameron didn't hold back their thoughts on Iain Maclean's management style. Now, Captain Sandy Yawn is weighing in with her feelings about the bosun.
In the above preview for Season 9, Episode 6 of Below Deck Med, which premieres Monday, July 8, Sandy gives Iain a piece of her mind.
The conversation goes down after Aesha is frustrated with Iain for not telling the guests his team is ready to take them out on an excursion, which delayed the departure. Sandy also takes note of the issue, telling him, "I want to get quicker with this."

While Iain responds that he had a different plan for getting ready to depart in his head — and Sandy's plan changed it — she notes, "Your plan wasn't working."
"Let's go with the system that works," she says, to which he responds, "Cool. Copy."
Iain Maclean's Crew Expresses Frustration Over His Management Style
During Episode 4, deck crew relations got tense after the crew was tasked with setting up an Olympic games-themed beach picnic party for guests. After telling Joe and Gael that they could tackle set up as well as come up with the ideas for games, Iain dropped them off on an island without any water.
As they thirstily scouted locations to set up the bash, Joe told Gael that Iain's approach was "bad management."
“There’s no leadership at all," he added in a confessional. "Iain could have helped. We’re tired already.”
Although Nathan Gallagher wasn't with them, he also expressed some concerns after Iain explained to Nathan where he should find some trolleys.
"If this is going to continue, with Iain micromanaging, I know I won't be happy," Nathan declared.
