Captain Sandy Yawn's Yachtie Reunion
During an appearance on the British talk show Loose Women, Captain Sandy was surprised by none other than Courtney Veale.
The alum, who appeared on Seasons 6 and 7 of Below Deck Med — the first as a stew and the second as a deckhand — documented the special moment on Instagram on September 20.
"What a day!" Courtney wrote alongside a photo of her and Captain Sandy, as well as several on-set snapshots with the likes of Denise Welch. "Thank you [Denise] for inviting me to come and surprise [Captain Sandy] ... It was so great to watch and meet everyone on the show."
Denise also took to Instagram to gush about Courtney surprising "the legend that is" Captain Sandy.
Captain Sandy Yawn's Engagement
Captain Sandy's trip to the U.K. was preceded by a pretty big life event, as she proposed to her longtime love Leah Shafer on September 18.
“I have been thinking about marrying Leah for years,” Captain Sandy told E! News at the time. “I knew from the minute I met her, but the timing had to be right. I wanted to make sure we could truly do life together first.”
