See Who Captain Kerry Titheradge Is Confronting in the Middle of the Night: "This Is Unacceptable"
"This guy is really creating a problem for me," the Below Deck captain states about a crew member.
On Season 11, Episode 6 of Below Deck, which aired on March 11, the crew went out together and celebrated the rest of their evening in the hot tub on deck. After Kyle Stillie spilled some of his tobacco on the deck, bosun Jared Woodin got into a bit of an argument with his crew mate, coming into Barbara "Barbie" Pascual's room where Kyle was hanging out to confront the deckhand.
When we concluded the episode, the guys were conversing in the crew mess, and unfortunately woke up Captain Kerry Titheradge, who wasn't too happy about the situation. In the clip above, which is a preview clip for Episode 7, airing on Monday, March 18, Kerry addresses the argument.
Who Captain Kerry Titheradge confronts in the middle of the night and why
"I can hear you two decks up," the captain begins in the video, confronting Jared and Kyle. "I'm up there trying to sleep [and] I hear you upstairs."
After Jared incredulously asks, "Really?", Kerry orders the guys to "pack this up" and "hit the sack" so everyone can get a good night's sleep.
In a confessional interview, the captain explains why he decided to take stern action with the guys in the crew mess. "Not only am I getting woken up a second time, it's threatening behavior I'm hearing; yelling and screaming," he states. "This is unacceptable on my boat."

The next morning, after getting some rest, Jared and Kyle make somewhat of an amends by greeting each other for the day.
"Thinking about last night, I'm not feeling like I handled it all too well," Jared says in an interview confessional. "A lot of things on my mind, a lot of things stressing me out but [...] it doesn't excuse how messy things were. I could have handled it better."

The next day, everyone is attending to their duties on the boat and Kerry reflects on the previous night's events.
"There's a lot going on last night that I didn't see," Kerry says in a confessional interview. "What I did see was two guys talking loudly in the crew mess. To me, it seemed like Kyle was trying to de-escalate the situation."
Kerry added: "I understand [Jared is] going through sh-t, but I don't have time for it."
When Kerry discusses the situation with Kyle, he asks for "the facts of the evening." We switch between Kyle and Barbie's perspectives from the night. After speaking with both Barbie and Kyle, Kerry says in a confessional interview, "I'm quickly running out of options with Jared. He's made quite a few f-ck ups. He's released heavy equipment at the dock without permission. He's made several mistakes in docking."
He concludes: "End of the day, my primary responsibility is safety of the vessel and the crew, and this guy is really creating a problem for me."
