Bronwyn Newport Reveals How She and Todd Are Doing After Revealing His Infidelity
Bronwyn Newport opened up on the current status of her relationship — and how RHOSLC has affected it.
Bronwyn Newport says things are all good with her husband, Todd Bradley — but that doesn't mean they're always easy.
During a recent interview with Us Weekly, the newest The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member opened up about her marriage — and how being on reality TV has affected it.
"You live and you see it and you watch it back and you learn, so we both have made some changes," she said. "We're happy. I love him to death."
Throughout Season 5, Bronwyn and Todd's relationship has been a major topic of conversation. When asked how she gets through all the criticism directed toward him and their marriage after difficult conversations air — like when she revealed he'd previously been unfaithful to her on Episode 14 — she said that it’s definitely hard. But they're still there for each other.
“No one is immune to seeing what’s online about them, so I kind of have to sort it into, like, what’s true and if I need to take that in and make changes and what maybe someone doesn’t know about us and is misunderstanding," she explained. "At the end of the day, when I’m really upset about what I see online it’s Todd who’s there for me, and I think that speaks so much about the fact that, even if it’s about Todd and I, Todd’s the one who’s there to help me get through it. So, we’re good.”
Does Todd Bradley wish Bronwyn Newport didn't join RHOSLC?
No, Todd doesn't wish Bronwyn never signed on to be a Bravoleb. That said, Bronwyn did note, "I don't think I realized while we were filming how uncomfortable he was on camera. So much of what's really good between Todd and I is really private between Todd and I, so I knew that wasn't necessarily being filmed to be shown. I didn't realize how harsh it looked, or how kind of stabby my self-deprecating humor could be."
Bronwyn Newport teases the RHOSLC Season 5 reunion
Bronwyn said that she went into the RHOSLC Season 5 reunion wanting, well, resolution.
"This is my first season, [so] watching it back there were a lot of things I was unhappy with myself about or felt like I could work on. So I went in with that mindset, and I think some other people did and some did not. So that's always a recipe for disaster," she said.
Still, she did make amends with some of her fellow cast members. Not everyone, but some. Stay tuned to see how!
