Is RHOSLC's Britani Bateman Still Dating Jared Osmond?
RHOSLC friend Britani Bateman opened up about being in a "hamster wheel" romance with Jared Osmond on the Season 5 premiere.
When viewers met friend of the ladies Britani Bateman during The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 premiere on September 18, they learned that she has been in an on-and-off relationship with Jared Osmond.
Jared is a musician who also happens to be the nephew of Donny Osmond and Marie Osmond.
Currently, there's no trace of Jared on Britani's public Instagram feed, and the RHOSLC Season 5 friend has yet to publicly confirm their current status.
Britani Bateman and Jared Osmond were broken up on the RHOSLC Season 5 premiere
As she and her close friend, Heather Gay, discussed on the Season 5 premiere, Britani and Jared's romance is quite hot and cold.
"I've known Britani for a few years, we've seen each other at events and have some mutual friends. She's a messed-up Mormon [who] has been divorced, [who] has been through the wringer," Heather shared in an interview on the episode about the performer. "She's dating Jared Osmond as in Osmond Osmond, the nephew of Donny and Marie, which in Mormon culture is the equivalent of dating Prince Harry. Until today."
The screen then flashed to an earlier FaceTime between Britani and Heather.
"As of this morning, I am single and ready to mingle," Britani said to the Bad Mormon author. "It's you and me, baby."
Britani Bateman says she's broken up with Jared Osmond at least "16 times"
The Utah resident went on to share that her relationship with the singer has ended at least 16 times over eight months (which, if you're doing the math, means an average of one breakup every two weeks).
"Jared and I have been dating eight months, and we've broken up 16 times, I want to say. A lot," Britani shared in an interview of her own. "I feel like I'm on this hamster wheel of dating other people, breaking up, and getting back together. It's like, 'Ugh, I'm a crazy person,' but there's just something about him. Mm, he's yummy."
What to expect from Britani Bateman on RHOSLC Season 5
Per the press release for RHOSLC Season 5, Britani is a "real estate developer, actress, and accoladed singer in an on-again, off-again relationship."
She "is introduced to the women through her friend, Heather, but bumps heads with a few of the ladies from the jump."
As viewers witnessed on the premiere episode, Britani got off to a rocky start with newbie Bronwyn Newport and with returning cast member Mary Cosby after she referred to Bronwyn's $15,000 Yves Saint Laurent heart coat as a "costume."
"Bronwyn I love your costume," Britani said at Lisa Barlow's "Besos" party.
"Oh, lord. She done called it a costume," Mary said. "I'm done."
"That's fighting words to Mary and I!" Bronwyn responded. "This is not a costume."
