Britani Bateman Details Her Chaotic Love Life with “10,000" Matches and “3 Dates a Night”
Britani Bateman opened up about her dating life — including her "spreadsheet" of potential suitors — on the RHOSLC After Show.
While Britani Bateman is one of the newest faces to grace our screens on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, there's no lack of drama involving the friend of the 'Wives. Britani's dating life has been a hot topic throughout Season 5, and as she explains in the video above, it's even more riveting than we thought.
During a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show (you can watch it above!), Britani dug into an important part of her world: her dating life. The conversation turned romantic after Season 5, Episode 6 of RHOSLC, in which Britani ended up caught between a current date, Aaron, and her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Jared Osmond, at a party.
"Jared and I were on a break for about two weeks at that point, and I think Aaron and I had been out three or four times," explained Britani during the After Show. "Back then, my self-esteem was just in the toilet. And so I was like, 'Well, fine. I'm not the fish you want to catch? I'm not good enough for you?' Well, boom. I'm gonna get on social and see what I can do. Boom. 10,000 hits on Bumble. Boom. 15,000 on Tinder. And I'm gonna have my pick."
"I didn't need to have 10 people on rotation or whatever, but I did. I would stack them like three dates a night just for efficiency," she added. "A five, a seven, and a nine. When you have 10,000 people, you have to get efficient; I don't have a lot of time. And I kept track of them on a spreadsheet... I just needed to keep track of — I have my list of what I'm looking for — and do they check this box? And then I would narrow it down."
Looking back, Britani remembers that time in her life all too well.
"I was going on a lot of dates, and every time Jared and I would break up I would start the new rotation. I'd get back on the dating sites," she said.
Who is Britani Bateman's date Aaron from RHOSLC?
During the episode, Heather Gay was shocked to see her friend Aaron arrive at Angie Katsanevas' engagement party. Perhaps more surprising? He was on Britani's arm.
"Aaron is someone that I met on a dating app while Jared and I were broken up," Britani explained in a confessional. "So, in times like this when Aaron and I are broken up, I wipe away a tear, hit the 'next' button, and then start dating immediately. Sometimes three a night. I'm a busy lady."
And Heather didn't just know Aaron, she had her own fling with him.
"Salt Lake City is very very small. We've all made out with each other. Some more than making out," she joked.
During the After Show, Heather added that she was happy to see them together because Aaron is a good guy.
"I feel protective of Britani, because, you know, she has a spreadsheet of her men, like, shut that sh-t down. And I know that she's kind of like, really wrapped up in dating. And so I kind of felt like he was a hero walking in," explained the Bad Mormon author. "And the fact that he was a hero that I'd blessed one time — it felt like family. It felt good. She has great taste in men."
Is Britani Bateman still dating Jared Osmond?
In a different RHOSLC After Show video above, Britani confirmed she and Jared had been "been broken up for about three months."
"I found shady stuff going on behind my back and I broke up [with him]," she said. "He was on a dating app and wouldn't show me his phone."
On the Season 5 premiere of RHOSLC, Britani opened up about their on-and-off relationship, explaining, "Jared and I have been dating eight months, and we've broken up 16 times, I want to say... I feel like I'm on this hamster wheel of dating other people, breaking up, and getting back together. It's like, 'Ugh, I'm a crazy person,' but there's just something about him. Mm, he's yummy."
