Brian Benni Is Single and Ready to Mingle on the Family Karma Season 3 Premiere
On the Family Karma Season 3 premiere, Brian’s parents share why Vishal’s wedding is the perfect place to meet someone.
Family Karma is officially back, and based on a preview of the November 6 premiere, Season 3 will start off with a bang.
When Season 3 begins, Vishal Parvani and Richa Sadana are finally getting married after more than 10 years together. The longtime couple is celebrating their decade-in-the-making union with a three-day wedding weekend for 225 guests in Cancún, Mexico.
In the premiere sneak peek, Richa and Vishal are getting ready to kick off the weekend with a Mehndi and Mezcal lunch, while Bali Chainani confirms that she arrived in Mexico with enough clothing options so she would have “an outfit plus an extra for each occasion.”
Brian Benni, on the other hand, is facing the opposite issue: The outfits he ordered got stuck overseas, so he can’t “go all out” like he initially wanted to.
His parents, Dharma and Raj Benni, scold their son for not thinking ahead. The stakes are high because they want him to meet someone special at the wedding.
“You can get a wife so you can leave my house,” Raj says to Brian, who then confirms that he “unfortunately ended [his] relationship with Monica [Shah]” (the pair broke up in February 2021).
Now, the Benni family is hoping that Vishal and Richa’s nuptials will be the place Brian meets the woman of his dreams.
In an interview, Raj says he’s been “hoping” for “a while” that Brian would meet someone, and his wife believes a wedding is the best place to do it.
“When you’re at a wedding, that’s where you meet all the pretty girls,” Dharma explains.
While Brian is back on the dating scene after his split, his longtime friend Monica Vaswani is still happily with Rish Karam — though they are staying in separate rooms for the wedding weekend.
“Monica just jumped the gun and booked her room with her dad, [Raj Vaswani],” Rish says in a confessional.
“I didn’t want my dad to feel left out!” Monica explains about her decision. “I’m a rule follower. Rish and I, we’re not engaged. I’m his girlfriend, so it makes sense for me to be with my dad.”
It looks like Richa’s mom, Lopa Sadana, is taking a page out of Monica’s rule-following book. In the premiere teaser, she assures viewers that she’s doing her best to get along with Vishal’s parents for the sake of the wedding.
“I’m trying to be cordial, but we still have issues,” Lopa says in an interview. “I told Richa I’ll go with the flow.”
Will Lopa actually go with the flow, and will Brian meet “the one” at his friends’ wedding? You’ll have to tune in to the Season 3 premiere to find out.
Watch the Family Karma premiere on Bravo on Sunday, November 6, at 9/8c and the next day on Peacock and the Bravo app.
