Lisa Hochstein Shares an Update on Her Relationship with Lenny's Mom at BravoCon 2023
The RHOM cast member spoke candidly about where she stands with Mariana Hochstein, following her split from her husband.
Lisa Hochstein has no interest in rebuilding a relationship with her estranged mother-in-law.
The Real Housewives of Miami cast member touched on the topic at BravoCon 2023, nearly a year and a half after her husband, Lenny Hochstein, filed for divorce. During the November 4 panel Bringing the Miami Heat to Vegas, an audience member asked Lisa to share an update on her relationship with Lenny’s mom, Mariana Hochstein. And, let’s just say, the Toronto native didn’t bite her tongue.
“There is absolutely no relationship with them at all,” Lisa said. “She doesn’t — I certainly don’t want one. I don’t know if anyone saw the disgusting things she said about me, publicly. Horrible, horrible things.”

Lisa didn’t specify what Mariana had said, but made it clear there was no hope for a reconciliation.
“We can’t come back from it,” she continued, referring to the drama. “There’s no coming back from the toxic relationship that we had… It’s very, very toxic.”
Lisa went on to say that Mariana continues to see her and Lenny’s two kids: a son, Logan, who was born in 2015; and a daughter, Elle Marie, who was born four years later.
“[Mariana] would love to be their mother and remove me from the situation,” Lisa said. “But that’s obviously never gonna happen.”

Although she didn't provide details, Lisa said that her divorce from Lenny has become "one of the hardest challenges" in her life, and she never thought the process to be so combative.
“I used to think we could maybe get past this and one day maybe be friends and be able to co-parent amicably," Lisa explained, "but he is making it so, so difficult. Everything is a fight, everything is a call to a lawyer, nothing is easy. I'm still going through it, unfortunately."

Lisa and Lenny’s marital issues played out in RHOM Season 5, about 13 years after the former couple had tied the knot. Although they have yet to finalize their divorce, the two have gone public with their new relationships: Lenny is now dating an Australian model named Katharina Mazepa, while Lisa is seeing a tech startup executive named Jody Glidden.
Fans got a glimpse at Lisa’s new “love” in the RHOM Season 6 premiere.
“One good thing that has come out of all of this is Jody,” the ’Wife said in the November 1 episode. “Jody is such an incredible person. I’ve really been leaning on him.”

During the BravoCon 2023 panel, Lisa announced she and Jody are launching a platform to assist women through the divorce process. She said the business, called Splitwell, will help “other people get through these really hard times and try to save costs on their divorce.”
“It’s almost like a calling,” she said. “It’s something I feel like I’m meant to do on this earth, to help other people.”
